Olympics: GO USA!

Go USA!  USA earned a total of 37 medals.  Wow!  9 Gold, 15 Silver, and 13 Bronze.  Impressive.  We have some of the best athletes in the world.  It was so fun to watch all the winter sports and/or events that were part of the games this year.  We cringed at the bob sledding (with the many crashes, one even fatal), were constantly amazed at the ski jumping, snowboarding, and speed skating, and asked a lot of questions about the other sports we had no idea existed.  We even found ourselves captivated by the curling competition.  The USA did amazing in hockey and surprised us all with a Silver medal going into sudden death overtime.  And the ice skating was pretty amazing to watch as well.  Among the favorite athletes to watch were: Shaun White, Lindsey Vonn, Seth Wescott, Apolo Ohno, among many others.  It was truly amazing to experience and so awesome to see those athletes.  Go USA!

 We made an Olympic ice rink in honor of the Olympics, but no surprise that the dinos found their way there.
