Thankful in Novmber, Day 19

Today I am thankful that Connor understands (a little, not completely) about the importance of helping others. We were talking about ways to help others and he asked if we could give backpacks and toys to kids who didn't have any. So, in December we will concentrate of a few things the boys can be invloved in giving within the community. If you any fun ideas for them, please let me know....

Our kiddos don't understand it but Jay and I have done it for several years and included the kids after they were born, each year we pick a name off a tree with the same gender and age as each of us. Last year was the first year Presley picked a gift and left it. I'm positive she doesn't understand it yet, but can't wait until they all do. But, it's a great feeling to leave five presents for complete strangers who need a smile at Christmas!
I like that it is the same age. Great idea. Thanks.
