Happy 2nd Birthday Dylan!

Two years old already, really?!?  Where do the years go?  I really remember the day he was born like it was just last week.  I think that day will always be fresh in our minds, what an exciting and adventurous day that was.  Dylan is such a high energy, sweet, active, adorable little boy.

Just a day at the lake...

The boys loved Papa's boat. The weather was perfect to hang out on the boat for awhile.  Connor & Dylan both had fun driving the boat.

The little guy

Connor & Grandpa went and got Starbucks and donuts this morning for breakfast. Dylan moved onto Connor's chocolate milk and sprinkle donuts...he is on plate cleaning duty :-)

Oh Dylan!

Dylan is becoming a handful to say the least.  He is full of energy, thinks he can do anything and everything Connor does, stubborn, and just plain cute.  Well, he is cute 98% of the time.

And here he just helps himself to some food in the fridge:

 "What MOM?!?  You can't deny me delicious blueberries...."  And he is right, I let him eat them ;-)

He also makes BIG messes:

 Mmmmm....yogurt!

 Mmmm....chocolate!

And then I forget about child labor laws and I put him to work...

He works hard for milk & cookies.  And his bonuses are kisses ;-)

Getting Big!

Dylan had his 1-year well visit and the doctor said he looks great!  He is 30 3/4 inches tall (the 75th percentile) and weights 20.9 pounds (only the 20th percentile).  He has grown an inch and a half and gained a pound and a half in the last 3 months.  The doctor said there is nothing wrong with being tall & skinny.  I sure hope not!  And with Dylan being such an active little boy, we wouldn't expect anything else. 

Dylan still loves all foods.  He still has yet to turn away any food.  But his new thing is to eat with a fork or spoon.  He is so silly.

If I am not quick enough to get him a fork, he just digs in and 'drinks' his pasta.

He would never turn down a blueberry!

Dylan's 1st Birthday Party

Dylan had a wonderful birthday party.  He really enjoyed all the attention he got from everybody.

Dylan did pretty good on his cake.  Especially for eating it with a fork.  What a crazy kid!  That is why we love him so much!

Dylan had such a fun birthday party with his family & friends.  He knew it was all for him and he was loving it!  Thanks to all our friends for making his party so fun!
