The cake was good.
At least I didn't eat the entire cake, just the top half with the frosting ;-)

Almost 28.
Tuesday, July 27, 2010
Since I will be 28 (yikes!) on Friday, my family had cake & icecream for me last night. Which was great, but Connor's reaction was priceless. After they sang Happy Birthday, Connor had tears rolling down his cheeks and was really sad. I asked him what was wrong, his response, "I don't get a birthday, I haven't had one, and I don't get a birthday" as he was trying to hold his tears back. So, we sang him Happy Birthday and he was fine. Poor guy. It was pretty funny though.

Fun Weekend
Tuesday, February 2, 2010
We had a wonderful weekend. My Dad & Gayle came to visit for a long weekend. Although the weather was cold and rainy, we all had fun.
Lots of drawing...
We celebrated Connor's birthday (again). So, of course we had to have cake...
Connor loved singing Happy Birthday to himself...
And blowing out the candles...
And he got a bike out of the whole birthday thing...
Mama tried explaining how to pedal forwards...
Papa helped him...
But then, Daddy just couldn't resist...
And now Dylan wants his own bike...
Connor is pretty cute in his bike helmet...
There was a lot of playing in the playroom as well...Then, there is Mr. Connor who thinks he is talented enough to read a book and watch a video on the iPod at the same time...
And Connor had to show Papa the donut shop, which just happens to be next door to Starbucks =)
And Dylan even learned to drink from a bottle...
(He reminds me of a goat that you feed at a petting zoo)
Dylan likes to be Mr. Independent when eating...
The boys had a blast playing with Papa & Grandma Gayle. We all had such a wonderful weekend. It went by way too fast!
Treats & Park
Friday, September 11, 2009

We went to the park today and it was much warmer than we expected, but Connor had fun playing with the other kids. And Dylan really enjoyed the swing. After the park, we went to Fritz's for ice cream...YUM! Ice cream for lunch, what a treat!
