Oh sweetness!

 Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Sweet potatoes are Dylan's new favorite toy!  And it keeps him so entertained, I haven't even moved the box of them---however, I often find sweet potatoes laying around the house.  Oh what fun!

Seriously?!?  Who needs toys when you have sweet potatoes???

And just look at this sweet little boy when he wakes up in the morning...his messy bed head is a good indication that he slept good.  Connor tells him that he has 'funky' hair.  Which is true.

Dylan makes such silly faces.  He makes us laugh...hope he made you smile today too.

Happy Birthday Dylan!

Dylan 1 month old.

Dylan with his binky.

Dylan sleeping in his car seat.

Dylan is very sad he didn't get ice cream!

Dylan is 1 month old today! How quickly the time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were driving down the freeway & out popped this adorable little guy!

We celebrated Dylan's birthday today with ice cream! We went to Fritz's for some yummy frozen custard after dinner. It was delicious. Connor loves that he gets his very own cone.

Dylan is growing and changing daily. Just today he has come to love his binky. And he is even grabbing it to hold it in his mouth. Very cute! As you can tell, he is getting quite chubby!

A couple more pictures of baby Dylan!

We are so excited Dylan is here & will never forget his arrival into this world! He is quite impatient! We were on our way to the hospital, but we came up a few miles short...He was delivered by me (Jenn) in the car, while pulling off the freeway. He came VERY quickly to say the least. Chris immediately called 911 after hanging up with the doctor's office, the ambulence was there within a few minutes to take mom & baby to the hospital, where a whole room of doctor's & nurses were waiting for us in the ER. We are very thankful we were both healthy and all three of us stayed calm during the chaos. Who would have thought I would deliver my own son, Dad would use his own shoelace to tie the umbilical cord, and we would be able to laugh about this so soon???

We are still in debate...If Chris will be forever traumatized? And if Jenn just has a very high pain tolerance or is just plain stubborn?
