Apparently, our elf was practicing his dance moves last night!  He got out the Wii and cowboy boots and was dancing along to some country music, in the boys boots.  Connor thought it was hilarious.

Elf on the Shelf,...Woody, Day 3

Well, Woody brought another gift today...a Christmas book with a few Advent stories.  We have read the first few already and so far, it is good.  But Woody had gotten out a few books and made a mess and was sitting on the dining room table.  The boys said, "Bad Woody!" LOL.

Woody was busy last night playing on the computer, apparently he was on YouTube watching videos of Disney on Ice.  He left us tickets for tonights performance.  He said to have fun and take pictures.  Our elf is pretty nice to us :-) The boys said he was a bad elf for playing with the computer, lol.

Today so thankful for two (well, really 3) helpful boys who were more than willing help with the Christmas decorations.  So cute.  They were so excited to open those tubs.  Lots more to do.

Well, our Elf from last year, Woody is here.  Boys were very excited that he came back again.  And since Woody doesn't talk, he wrote us a letter.  So, we had to write him back.

Thankful in November, Day 25

I am so incredibly thankful for so many things today.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with our amazing friends, Matt & Matina.  We didn't have the typical Thanksgiving feast, instead we had king crab and a smoked ham.  And of course, delicious side dishes and amazing desserts.

Today I am thankful I got to take Connor to lunch, just him & I.  Connor makes a great lunch date.  We went to Kyoto's Japanese Steakhouse, Connor loves the places where they cook in front of you.  It is food AND a show, can't go wrong there.

Today I am thankful for my silhouette cutter.  It is seriously the coolest thing.  I made these little gift boxes for the boys' teachers and just put some delicious carmel chocolates.  So cute.  There are so many possibilities...just not enough hours in the day!

Today I am thankful for the rain we got.  Our grass needed it and the lakes near us are finally starting to fill up a little.  Slowly.  It was a hot and dry summer and the lakes are certainly showing it.

Today I am thankful for lazy days.  It is almost lunchtime and we are still in our PJ's.  Well, Chris is off at work, so we made pancakes and decided to play and clean a little.  And the boys decided I needed a little help with my hair --- they happily styled it for me....
